Man United legend called Mourinho's tactics a load of c**p

Man United legend called Mourinho's tactics a load of c**p Manchester United legend Dwight Yorke has questioned Jose Mourinho’s methods after another poor season for the Old Trafford club, according to Goal. Yorke also felt that if the roles were reversed and Pep Guardiola was in charge at United, then they would have won the Premier League title. Mourinho’s ability has been put into question after United’s struggles to compete in the Premier League and Champions League this year. Many people feel that the style of the United boss if far too defensive for a club of their size and a large number of people would much prefer it if United were playing on the front foot, like they used to in the days of Sir Alex Ferguson. Yorke explained his reasoning: “If you are on the front foot playing attacking football and you want to score goals, that is what people want to pay money to watch. I remember when we were playing Liverpool away from home and we recorded one shot in the whole match. That’s not Man United. You want people to go out and express themselves. You are hoping one of your big talents produces a magic moment that will go out and win you the game. United are waiting for that one moment and secure a 1-0 advantage. That is not the way we play. It’s a load of crap, in my opinion.

Manchester United are reportedly ready to hijack Paris St Germain’s potential deal for Napoli defender Faouzi Ghoulam, according to Calcio Mercato.

The left-back is seen as a potential replacement for Luke Shaw, who has been in and out of favour with boss José Mourinho.

Shaw is reportedly tired of inconsistencies and would like to leave Old Trafford this summer.

United have been linked with left-backs such as Fulham’s wonderkid Ryan Sessegnon, who has scored 16 goals for the Cottagers this season and is still just 17 years of age.

The Red Devils have also been linked with Juventus star Alex Sandro, who reportedly wants to leave Turin, with Chelsea also interested in the Old Lady star.

The latest number three to be linked with a move to Old Trafford is Napoli’s Faouzi Ghoulam, who has been an integral part of the Napoli squad since he joined from Saint-Etienne back in 2014.

However, Ghoulam has missed 31 games this season with a cruciate ligament rupture followed by a fractured kneecap. He is recovering now the season has finished and is ready to start pre-season training.

A deal to take Ghoulam to PSG had looked increasingly likely, but with United now said to be interested in the left-back he could have his head turned towards playing Premier League football.

United given licence to enter team into Women's Championship .
Manchester United have been given a licence to enter a team into the Women’s Championship. The BBC report that United will join the second tier of the women’s game next season after applying for a place. The news brings an end to United’s 13-year spell without a women’s team following their decision to disband the team back in 2005. United’s arrival will see West Ham Ladies move up into the Women’s Super League. United will come up against the likes of Charlton, Leicester City, Lewes and Sheffield United, who have all been added to their second tier. The Manchester club have come in for criticism in recent years for not having a competitive female side, despite the rapid growth of the women’s game. A restructuring of the league system in the women’s game has seen plenty of change with teams dropping and moving between divisions with clubs having to re-apply for their places in the leagues.
