  Sarri eyeing triple Napoli swoop if he lands Chelsea role If Chelsea appoint Maurizio Sarri, he will want the club to pay the release clauses for three Napoli players, reports Football Italia. Sarri met with Chelsea officials yesterday and after a seven-hour meeting, is expected to take over on a two-year deal. He will undoubtedly be interested in a number of players from his former club, and he wants to start by signing those with release clauses. Raul Albiol, Elseid Hysaj and Piotr Zielinski are the players he wants to bring to Stamford Bridge so he has a core group of players that he knows. All three played key roles for Napoli this season, Albiol made the least appearances out of the three and even he played 34 games. The 32-year-old centre-back has been an ever-present for the Italian side for the past five years and Sarri wants him to do the same at the Blues. Hysaj and Zielinski are both in demand. They have been linked with numerous top European clubs but Sarri moving to Chelsea could sway their decisions should other sides try and challenge them for their signatures.

Elseid Hysaj's agent has claimed the Napoli right-back could join Chelsea should Maurizio Sarri replace Antonio Conte at Stamford Bridge.

Sarri has been heavily linked with the FA Cup winners in recent weeks after being replaced by Carlo Ancelotti, despite overseeing Napoli's concerted Serie A title challenge in 2017-18.

Hysaj, 24, is also a reported target for Chelsea and was coached by Sarri at both Empoli and Napoli.

Speculation continues to mount that Chelsea will part with Conte in the off-season and Hysaj's agent Mario Giuffredi has suggested the Albanian's future could depend on where Sarri ends up next.

"He has a €50million release clause. I think only Premier League clubs can afford him, so his fate depends on Sarri," he told Radio CRC.

"If the Tuscan coach was to move to England, he could want him [Hysaj]. Therefore, Hysaj could follow him.

"Failing that, it would be very difficult to see Hysaj away from Napoli."

The agent of former Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri is said to be in London to finalise his move to Chelsea. Sky Sports claim that a source close to the manager has confirmed the Italian’s agent is in the capital with a deal appearing to be close. Sarri has been Chelsea’s number one target to replace Antonio Conte this summer and has agreed terms to sign a two-year deal. Conte is expected to leave Stamford Bridge shortly after the Blues agreed a compensation package for the 48-year-old and the other members of his coaching staff. Chelsea and Napoli have remained in negotiations over a fee for the manager, despite the Naples side hiring Carlo Ancelotti as his replacement. Several Napoli players, including Elseid Hysaj and Dries Mertens, are being linked with moves to the Premier League side, following Sarri to Stamford Bridge with Chelsea yet to make a major signing this summer.
