NBA Finals 2018: Odds, predictions for latest edition of Cavs vs. Warriors

NBA Finals 2018: Odds, predictions for latest edition of Cavs vs. Warriors The Cavs and Warriors are meeting for the fourth straight year in the NBA Finals, but 2018 seems to be the most lopsided affair yet. The Cavs simply aren’t as good as they were a year ago, while the Warriors still have four All-Stars and two MVP-caliber players in Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant.AccuScore has consistently picked the Warriors to win the title all postseason long, and a matchup with LeBron James and the Cavaliers did little to change the computer’s mind. After simulating out the series 10,000 times, the Warriors are heavy favorites at 88.6 percent to win the series, including 21.

As the opening game of the world’s most watched tournament comes ever closer, we’ve taken a look at the four teams in Group B, and predicted the outcome of every game that will be played between them.

The four teams are Spain, Portugal, Morocco and Iran. A pretty favourable draw for some.

At first ,you would expect Spain and Portugal to qualify with no problems, with the big decider being who claims top spot.

However, this is football and anything can happen at a major tournament. Both Iran and Morocco have made statements saying they will “fight for their lives” so it would be foolish to rule them out, plus, Spain sacking their manager just a day before the tournament has thrown a huge spanner in the works.

World Cup Group G - Predictions

World Cup Group G - Predictions The countdown continues… We are now just a few days away from the 2018 World Cup kicking off in Russia, and it’ll soon be time for the start of Group G, where we see England, Belgium, Tunisia and Panama pitted together. Belgium enter as frontrunners to proceed to the knockout stages as group winners, narrowly in front of England – they are also are sixth and seventh favourites to win the tournament, respectively. The vast majority are tipping the outcome of Group G as a straightforward one, in terms of who goes through anyway, and I for one also sit on that bandwagon. With all due respect, Tunisia and Panama will struggle to match the experience of The Three Lions and The Red Devils, and in all seriousness, will just be enjoying the stage they are performing on. It seems set in stone that the final Group G fixture between Belgium and England will decide which nation proceeds as group winners, but a tricky test in the Round of 16 and beyond awaits, regardless of which position they finish in.

Here’s how we see the group shaping up.

Iceland v Croatia: Match Preview .
Iceland and Croatia are no strangers to playing against each other, just as they did in qualifying for the World Cup in Russia. Back then, both registered a win apiece in qualifying against each other with Iceland topping the group. However, in this tournament both have experienced contrasting fortunes. Croatia have won both of their games with style, swagger and air of confidence and look like a team that can go far in the tournament. Meanwhile, Iceland’s first campaign has been mixed. After such a high in their opening game, in which they claimed a historic draw against World Cup heavyweights and two-time winners Argentina, they were very poor against Nigeria were brought back down to Earth with defeat in their second game. Croatia’s fate is already sealed as they know that after this game, they will be in the knockout stages, but top spot is not secured as of yet and they know if they avoid defeat, they will finish as winners of Group D. If Nigeria beat Argentina and Iceland win, Iceland will know that qualifying is out of reach and they will be boarding the plane home. Croatia are expected to make a few changes but are unlikely to weaken their side too much as they still have to play for top spot in the group.
