Liverpool make €60m Fekir offer

Liverpool make €60m Fekir offer Liverpool have made a €60m offer for Lyon forward Nabil Fekir, as they close in on a deal for the Frenchman. According to Le Parisien, Liverpool have offered Lyon €60m, following the arrival of Fabinho from Monaco earlier this week. The offer, however, is said to be below Lyon’s valuation of the player and has been rejected by the French outfit. The report also claims that Fekir wants his future sorted before he jets off to Russia for the World Cup with France, so he can fully focus on the tournament. Liverpool and Lyon are continuing talks over a deal for Fekir, though, as the two club’s look to meet a price that suits both parties. Lyon are prepared to wait until after the World Cup to strike a deal for Fekir to leave, meaning Liverpool will have to persuade them with a good offer to sell in the coming weeks.

Liverpool made an offer to sign Santos starlet Rodrygo Goes according to his agent, the Metro reports.

The 17-year-old has caught the eye of several top European clubs having impressed for the Brazilian club since making his first team debut back in November.

Nick Acuro, the youngster’s agent, has confirmed that a bid had been made for his player from Liverpool, as well as from Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain.

However, he went on to state that Goes is set to join Real Madrid.

“We had offers from Liverpool, PSG and Barcelona, but they did not reach what Santos asked for.”

“Fifteen days ago, Madrid approached me, they met with the president and made their proposal, reaching the value that Santos always wanted.”

“Last week, the player did his medical with Madrid and then Santos gave the green light. The agreement is that he stays [at Santos] until June 30, 2019.”

Real Madrid have reportedly agreed to pay £35million for 80% of the striker’s rights.

Rodrygo is set to become one of the highest paid teenagers in football with a deal that will see him earn £75,000 per week.

Liverpool make their move for Marco Asensio .
Liverpool have reportedly made their opening move to recruit Marco Asensio from Real Madrid. It’s claimed by Mundo Deportivo, as translated by Sport Witness, that the Reds have already submitted a substantial offer for the player, who could be set for an exit from the Bernabeu this summer. Asensio struggled to nail down a place in Zinedine Zidane’s starting line-up at Real last season but following the arrival of Julen Lopetegui, his future remains uncertain. The wide playmaker is currently out in Russia on international duty with the Spanish national squad as they look to achieve World Cup glory. However, it seems Asensio could be set to play his first-team football elsewhere next term if a move to Anfield is of interest to him, with Mundo Deportivo indicating that the Reds are indeed keen to land him. It’s stated, rather sensationally, that Liverpool have made a move worth €180m for the player – a deal that would smash the club’s transfer record. It is, of course, unlikely that the Reds would spend this type of sum on a player this summer, but their interest in Asensio has been well documented and it would come as no surprise to see Jurgen Klopp push for the player’s arrival.
