Nabil Fekir "already has his head at Liverpool"

Nabil Fekir Speaking to La Chaine L’Équipe, French football journalist Nabil Djellit said that Nabil Fekir is desperate to join Liverpool and as such, he expects Lyon to let him leave sooner rather than later. He said: “Keeping players against their will does not end up well. Nabil Fékir already has his head at Liverpool. His soul has already projected a move to Liverpool. It would be counterproductive to keep him against his will.” Fekir looks to be Liverpool’s top attacking target this summer but negotiations between the Reds and Lyon seem to be progressing slowly as the French side have no desperate need to sell. However, both Fekir and Liverpool would prefer the deal to be completed before the World Cup, whilst the French national set-up would prefer that too as a transfer target could be a potential distraction. Didier Deschamps has been known to ban any transfer activity from taking place whilst players are on international duty so if a deal can’t be reached soon, it could be a long wait before any further progress is made.

PSG are confident of banking a sizeable fee for Gonçalo Guedes , who has enjoyed a stellar season on loan at Valencia. Naturally, Valencia are eager to secure a permanent deal for Guedes this summer, but PSG need to sell this summer to stave off a looming set of Uefa sanctions due to Financial Fair

Cavani went close to his hat-trick Guedes ' father believes Valencia will make a PSG transfer news: Interest in former Real Madrid PSG might agree to sell Goncalo Guedes Where does his future lie?

Earlier this month, we exclusively revealed that Liverpool had enquired about the availability of Paris Saint Germain star Gonçalo Guedes and it appears that the winger will be for sale.

PSG need to raise around €60m by the end of the month in order to meet Financial Fair Play regulations and the sale of Guedes is the obvious way for them to raise the vast majority of that amount.

After the deal to take Nabil Fekir to Liverpool collapsed, there has been speculation as to which players the Reds might sign and whilst Guedes is a different style of player to the Frenchman, he would still be an addition to the Reds’ forward line.

Lyon won't sell Nabil Fekir until after the World Cup

Lyon won't sell Nabil Fekir until after the World Cup Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas says that Lyon forward Nabil Fekir, a target of Liverpool, won’t be sold during the World Cup and he’s unlikely to move before the tournament. Twitter: #Mercato @JM_Aulas : “Le dossier @NabilFekir ne se bouclera ni avant ni pendant la @FIFAWorldCup.” Toutes les d… https://t.co/0HiRRE8OBs (@OL) He said: “The record is at a standstill, there is no way forward. The record will certainly not close during the World Cup and I do not think there is any change before the World Cup. (We) have not set a base price because we have not discussed this yet” Fekir is clearly a target for Liverpool and if they have to wait until after the World Cup to sign him then they’d be prepared to do just that, having shown patience in the market in the past. The Reds are also interested in bringing in Xherdan Shaqiri from Stoke City, whilst they are still keeping tabs on Roma goalkeeper Alisson.

Liverpool have made an enquiry for Paris Saint-Germain attacker Gonçalo Guedes . Previous reports have claimed that Valencia are keen on keeping the player permanently but they are likely to be priced out of a deal. Barcelona open to selling Liverpool target Cillessen.

The Egypt international is likely to be inundated with offers to leave at the end of the campaign. And, if Liverpool manage to keep Salah, Ronaldo wants Goncalo Guedes to replace him. The Portugal star has spent the season on loan at Valencia after leaving PSG .

PSG are like to sell Odsonne Edouard for somewhere between €8m and €12m, so they could be forced into selling Guedes for around €50m (£44m).

The 21-year-old impressed whilst on loan at Valencia and is likely to have a lot of clubs interested in him, time will tell if Liverpool decide to make a move.

Portugal vs Morocco: Match preview .
Moscow will play host to Group B’s fixture between Portugal and Morocco, who will battle it out in order to gain momentum and get themselves through to the knockout rounds. Portugal come into this fixture of the back of a thrilling 3-3 draw with Spain on Friday night, whilst Morocco go to Moscow after their disappointing defeat against Iran, which put their hopes of qualifying from the group very much at risk. Portugal will be facing a completely different challenge in this game compared to Spain, as Morocco have been defending really well in recent times. The two sides have only ever met once as Morocco came out on top in their encounter at the 1986 World cup. The African’s came out with a 3-1 victory back then and finished top of their group with the Seleceo finishing bottom. What they would do for history to repeat itself! Morocco were left empty-handed against Iran despite playing well throughout and starting very brightly. Aziz Bouhaddouz was the unlucky player who headed the ball into his own net, just as the tournament looked set for its first goalless match. Portugal left a very strong impression in their opening game against Spain, but their defence did show its weaknesses at times. The attack didn’t shine too brightly either. Sespite scoring three, it was Cristiano Ronaldo who was the only player on form. They had no more than three shots on Friday night with Ronaldo being clinical enough to put them away.
