Real Madrid had reportedly reached Mane agreement prior to Zidane exit

Real Madrid had reportedly reached Mane agreement prior to Zidane exit Reports from France have indicated that Real Madrid reached an agreement in principle to sign Sadio Mane from Liverpool this summer prior to Zinedine Zidane’s departure. It’s claimed by France Football that the Senegalese winger had been lined up as Real Madrid’s first marquee signing for the summer as president Florentino Perez looks to bolster his side. However, a deal has seemingly been thrown into doubt after it was confirmed last week that Zidane was stepping down from his role as Real’s manager. It’s claimed in the somewhat speculative report that Mane remains keen to become a Real Madrid player someday and that he is open to joining the club this summer. Although, France Football also reiterate that Real are yet to convince Liverpool to sell one of their prized assets. The Reds will surely refuse to sanction any sale of Mane this summer given the impressive feats he reached during last season’s success, along with the strong relationships he has formed with Liverpool’s attacking players.

“From what he’s written to me and from what he has said on the phone, I think Mo is really happy at Liverpool ,” Heitz told the Liverpool Echo. Mohamed Salah has been linked with a move to Real Madrid .

Sadio Mane has declared himself “ happy ” at Liverpool amid rumoured interest from “best team in the world” Real Madrid . But the Senegal international refused to rule out a future move away from Anfield as he set his sights on winning the Champions League.

Liverpool star Sadio Mane has insisted that he is "very happy" at the Premier League club amid links to Real Madrid.

Mane, 26, has been linked with a shock switch to the European champions after another fine campaign in England.

While the Senegal international said he was happy with life at Liverpool, he was unwilling to rule out a move in the future.

"I am very happy in Liverpool and my contract will last for three more years," Mane told Salzburger Nachrichten.

He added: "As I said, I'm happy in Liverpool. But you never know what will happen in the future."

Mane scored 10 goals and provided seven assists in 29 games in the Premier League in 2017-18.

He is the latest member of Liverpool's 'Fab Three' attacking unit to have become a rumoured target for Madrid.

On the back of a 44-goal debut campaign at Anfield, Mohamed Salah has been heavily linked with a big-money move to the Santiago Bernabeu.

The Egypt international has, however, also been quick to talk up his happiness on Merseyside in an effort to curb the rumours.
