Everton player set for talks on his future at the club Kevin Mirallas is set to hold talks with Everton over his future at the club, the Liverpool Echo reports. Currently bolstering a 38 man squad, The Toffees are keen to let players leave this summer and reduce their £139million wage bill. Mirallas has fallen out of favour in Merseyside and spent the second half of last season on loan at Greek side Olympiakos. However, Mirallas’ loan deal was cut short after he failed to shine for Olympiakos and as a result missed out on Belgium’s World Cup squad. Mirallas is under contract at Goodison until June 2020 but he and his representatives are set to meet with Everton’s new director of football, Marcel Brands, in the coming weeks to discuss the 30-year-old’s future at the club. With new Everton boss Marco Silva keen to cut his squad down to around 25 players, Mirallas looks likely to depart the club this summer.

Premier League Championship Scottish Premiership European Teams. EVERTON are expected to hold further talks with former Aston Villa midfielder Gareth Barry over a permanent deal, following his release from Manchester City.

Clare started last season on loan at Gillingham but was recalled in January and was given a chance in the Owls’ first team. Wednesday want to keep hold of the youngster, but he’s already decided that his future lies elsewhere.

Celtic have apparently held talks with him over a possible deal, one which could be a relative bargain for the Scottish champions as the compensation that would need to be paid to Sheffield Wednesday would be a very small amount due to the lack of appearances he’s made in their first team.

Everton weigh up move for Stoke City World Cup midfielder .
Everton are this week linked with a move for Stoke City midfielder Badou Ndiaye, according to a report from Turkish outlet Fotomac. Ndiaye only joined Stoke in January from Galatasaray, but could leave the Potters after only six months thanks to Stoke’s relegation to the Championship last season. The player is on international duty with Senegal, who beat Poland 2-0 in their opening game. However, he has attracted interest from a number of Premier League clubs, with Wolves also taking a look at the Senegalese player. Stoke paid over £14 million for the midfielder in January, but the player only made 13 appearances for Stoke. The Senegalese player did impress for Stoke, scoring twice as Paul Lambert’s side were relegated to the Championship. Everton could have to part with £25 million if they want to sign Ndiaye, with Stoke trying to sell their highly paid starts as they adapt to life in the Championship.
