Burnley unlikely to re-sign Danny Ings

Burnley unlikely to re-sign Danny Ings Burnley are unlikely to re-sign Danny Ings from Liverpool as Sean Dyche’s main focus is to bring Jay Rodriguez back to Turf Moor, according to the Mirror. Liverpool have reluctantly decided to let Ings leave after he requested a move in order to play regular first-team football. He was linked with a move back to Burnley, the side from whom he joined the Reds three years ago, but the Clarets have decided that West Brom’s Jay Rodriguez is the man they want to bring in. Cryatal Palace are, according to the Mirror, leading the race to sign the 25-year-old, but Liverpool will be hoping for more interest so they can drive up their asking price.

Celtic striker Leigh Griffiths is reportedly a target for Turkish Super Lig side Erzurumspor.

The Scottish international is being heavily linked with a move away from Celtic this summer and according to Transfer Merkezi – a Turkish transfer news source – Griffiths has emerged as a target for Erzurumspor.

Celtic are in a good position heading into next season with regards to their attacking options. Along with star striker Moussa Dembele, they also have Odsonne Edouard, who recently completed a permanent move from PSG to the Hoops following a successful loan spell at the club.

Griffiths is a player who Brendan Rodgers holds in high esteem, but a summer sale could be sanctioned if a sizable offer is submitted to the reigning Scottish champions.

The 27-year-old found the net only 13 times last season but has been an effective player for the club in the recent campaigns. A move to Turkey could now be on the cards, though, if rumours are to be believed.

Carroll offered surprise lifeline from Besiktas .
Andy Carroll has been offered a surprise route out of West Ham by Turkish giants Besiktas. Fanatik reports that the Englishman is one of many strikers under consideration as they seek a long-term replacement for Cenk Tosun. The Turkish striker joined Everton last season and his former side remain in the market for his replacement. Wilfried Bony, André-Pierre Gignac, Christian Benteke and Kostas Mitroglou are all also expected to be targeted by the Turkish side. It was recently confirmed that Carroll would be sidelined for three months with an ankle injury. It is believed that a loan move to Turkey would be the most feasible option for the striker, who has struggled to hold down a place at the London Stadium. Injuries have got the better of the player in recent seasons and a move away from the club may help him get his career back on track.
