Burnley to offer Nahki Wells to West Brom in Rodriguez move

Burnley to offer Nahki Wells to West Brom in Rodriguez move Burnley are reportedly ready to offer Nahki Wells to West Brom in their bid to lure Jay Rodriguez back to Turf Moor this summer. The Baggies star, who found the net on seven occasions last season, has emerged as a top target for Sean Dyche as he looks to strengthen the Burnley squad ahead of a busy campaign for the club. However, West Brom remain keen to keep hold of Rodriguez and will refuse all offers under £18 million, if reports are to be believed. Burnley will continue to pursue Rodriguez, though, and according to claims from the Mirror, they will aim to use Wells as a makeweight to try and convince West Brom to sell their star man. Wells joined Burnley only last summer but has struggled to make an impression, with the likes of Chris Wood, Ashley Barnes and Sam Vokes all ahead of the Bermudian in the pecking order. West Brom have recently been linked with a move for Wells, but whether or not they will agree to the alleged offer from Burnley remains to be seen.

The 2017–18 season was Burnley 's 136th competitive season, their second consecutive in the Premier League and their 55th in top flight English football. Along with the Premier League, the club also competed in the FA Cup and EFL Cup.

Burnley unlikely to re-sign Danny Ings

Burnley unlikely to re-sign Danny Ings Burnley are unlikely to re-sign Danny Ings from Liverpool as Sean Dyche’s main focus is to bring Jay Rodriguez back to Turf Moor, according to the Mirror. Liverpool have reluctantly decided to let Ings leave after he requested a move in order to play regular first-team football. He was linked with a move back to Burnley, the side from whom he joined the Reds three years ago, but the Clarets have decided that West Brom’s Jay Rodriguez is the man they want to bring in. Cryatal Palace are, according to the Mirror, leading the race to sign the 25-year-old, but Liverpool will be hoping for more interest so they can drive up their asking price.

Chelsea winger Pedro linked with Lazio switch .
Chelsea winger Pedro Rodriguez has reportedly emerged as a summer transfer target for Lazio. According to claims from Italian news outlet La Repubblica, as cited by Goal, Simone Inzaghi’s men would like to sign the experienced Spaniard as a replacement for Felipe Anderson. The versatile Brazilian attacker recently joined West Ham United in a deal believed to be worth in excess of £40 million, and now Lazio are on the lookout for replacements. The claims from Italy indicate that Lazio are willing to lodge a proposal worth around £22 million for Pedro, as Inzaghi continues to build his squad ahead of next season. Pedro’s contract at Stamford Bridge comes to an end in the summer of 2019, indicating that the Blues may look to cash in on the player in the near future to avoid losing him for free at the end of the season. It’s claimed, however, that the ex-Barcelona star could be a difficult target for Lazio to secure given his current salary at Chelsea.
