Real Madrid considering £88m Ronaldo offer from Juventus

Real Madrid considering £88m Ronaldo offer from Juventus Real Madrid are reportedly considering a £88 million offer from Juventus for Cristiano Ronaldo. Sky Sports report that the Old Lady have lodged a bid to sign the player this summer, in what would be an eye-catching move. Ronaldo has often voiced his frustration at Real Madrid and it seems he is once again keen to leave the club this summer. Juventus are hoping to seal a deal to sign Ronaldo, who they believe would help them secure the Champions League trophy that they have been desperately chasing. After dominating domestically in Italy, Juventus have set out to win the Champions League trophy, but have been unable to do so. Despite reaching the latter stages of his career, the Turin outfit believes Ronaldo can get them over that hurdle. Some reports have linked Real Madrid with a big-money move for Kylian Mbappe this summer, which would raise questions over Ronaldo’s long-term future.

Juventus great Gianluigi Buffon would be happy if Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo signed for the Serie A champions and believes it would be a great signing for Italian football.

Ronaldo, 33, is linked with a stunning €100 million (£89m/$118m) switch from Madrid to Juve, with the deal reportedly close to completion.

The Portugal international's arrival would come after Buffon's departure, the former Italy goalkeeper having signed with Paris Saint-Germain after departing the Serie A club on free transfer.

Juventus to sell Higuain and Dybala to fund Ronaldo move

Juventus to sell Higuain and Dybala to fund Ronaldo move Juventus have reportedly decided to cash in on both Gonzalo Higuain and Paulo Dybala in a bid to raise funds to sign Cristiano Ronaldo. Tancredi Palmeri claims that the Old Lady will sell both players this summer to raise funds for Ronaldo, who continues to be linked with a €100 million move to Turin. Higuain has been heavily linked with a move to Chelsea, with some reports going as far as suggesting a €60 million fee has been agreed between both clubs. The former Real Madrid striker is due to turn 31 in December and Juventus may feel they may never get a better chance to cash in on the player. However, more surprisingly, Dybala is also being linked with a summer exit. Dybala has been considered as the future of the club for some time and is seen as someone who can be the next Alessandro Del Piero figure in Turin.

Buffon, who made more than 500 league appearances for Juve, said Ronaldo joining the club would come as no surprise and be a boon for the Serie A giants.

"I wouldn't be surprised to see Ronaldo at Juventus," he told Sky Sport on Monday.

"It would make me happy because it is what the Juventus world needs, to find new idols and adore them."

Ronaldo scored three times to eliminate Juve in the quarter-finals last season, including an incredible bicycle kick goal in the first leg, after having netted a double against the Italian side in the 2017 decider.

Buffon said it was those goals, and not Ronaldo potentially joining the club after his departure, that hurt.

"It doesn't bother me. It bothers me the two goals that he scored against me in the final and the ones that he got last season," he said jokingly.

"It would be the best advertising for Italian football. It is confirmation of how much Juventus, with [chairman] Andrea Agnelli and his family, can adapt to the times and even anticipate them."

Sturaro's agent confirms West Ham have made an offer .
West Ham have made an offer for Juventus midfielder Stefano Sturaro, the player’s agent has confirmed. The Hammers have been perennially linked with a move for the Italian international, who looks all but set to leave Juventus in the current transfer window. Sturaro has been eyed by a number of Premier League clubs in the last two years but the player’s agent has confirmed specifically that West Ham and Leicester, along with four other unnamed clubs, have approached him with proposals. Speaking exclusively to Juve News, Sturaro’s agent had this to say about his client’s future at the club: “In football, anything can happen, because there are plenty of offers. Not only from West Ham and Leicester but at least four other clubs are interested in my client, who doesn’t have a favourite destination. I’m now waiting on a decision from Juventus.” “In reality, an imminent sale isn’t on the cards, even if there are several opportunities to evaluate on Juventus’ table.” Sturaro was utilised generally as a bit-part player under Massimiliano Allegri at Juventus last term and it seems the midfielder will now go in search of first-team football on a regular basis this summer. The ball appears to now be in Juventus’ court, with West Ham awaiting a decision from the club as they assess the future of Sturaro.
