Chelsea ready to enter the race to sign Anderson

Chelsea ready to enter the race to sign Anderson West Ham are bracing themselves for competition from Chelsea in the race to sign Felipe Anderson from Lazio. Il Tempo, as cited on Sport Witness, claims that the Blues are readying a €30 million offer as they look to prepare for the arrival of Maurizio Sarri. Sarri is expected to take over from Antonio Conte in the coming days and is a known admirer of Anderson. West Ham have been heavily linked with a move for Anderson throughout the summer window, but the two sides are yet to agree on a fee. The player is said to be keen on a move to the Premier League, but the lengthy negotiations are slowing down the deal. It is yet to be seen how serious Chelsea’s interest is, with Lazio already demanding closer to €40 million from West Ham, with the latter looking to complete a double deal for Anderson and defender Jordan Lukaku.

Iago Falque Silva (Galician: [ˈjaɣo ˈfalke]; Spanish: [ˈjaɣo ˈfalke]; born 4 January 1990) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a forward for Italian club Torino. Born in Vigo, Galicia, Falque began his career with Real Madrid before moving to Barcelona in 2001.

West Ham have been linked with a move for former Tottenham midfielder Iago Falque.

Reports in Italy say that the Hammers along with Leicester and Southampton are all keeping tabs on the Spaniard, who has made a career in Italy after flopping with Tottenham in England.

Tuttosport report that the sides are taking a look at Falque, but Torino are unlikely to want to sell one of their key players.

If a big enough bid is received Torino could be forced to sell Falque, but as of yet no asking price is known for the Spaniard.

Falque left Spurs for Italy in 2014, joining Genoa. He would then move on to Roma before joining Torino in 2016 originally on loan before making his move permanent in 2017.

West Ham target Lukaku could be sold by Lazio

West Ham target Lukaku could be sold by Lazio West Ham target Jordan Lukaku has been deemed surplus to requirements by Lazio manager Simone Inzaghi, according to reports from Italy. The Hammers have been heavily linked with a move for the Belgian international, who has struggled to make an impression during his time with Lazio. West Ham have been in deep negotiations with Lazio over a deal to sign Felipe Anderson this summer, and it’s believed that conversations have been held regarding a potential deal for Lukaku. Lazio are proving to be tough to negotiate with if reports are to be believed, but according to claims from Il Messaggero, as cited by Calciomercato, they are willing to sell Lukaku this summer. Inzaghi is understood to be keen on trimming his squad ahead of next season and Lukaku is thought by the Italian media to be a player who is not in the manager’s favour. The Hammers are keen to fix their defensive woes ahead of next season and have already recruited Lukasz Fabianski, Ryan Fredericks and Issa Diop this summer. Lukaku was used sparingly by Inzaghi at Lazio last term and after being perennially linked with a move to the Premier League, it seems he will have the chance to play in England if West Ham capitalise on the opportunity to land him.

West Ham announce the signing of Felipe Anderson .
West Ham have confirmed the arrival of Felipe Anderson from Lazio for a club-record fee. As per the club’s official website, Anderson puts pen to paper on a four-year deal at the London Stadium, in a deal that is reportedly worth around £40 million. Anderson has been heavily linked with a move to London throughout the summer transfer window, but the Hammers were bracing themselves for late interest from Chelsea. There had been some suggestions that Maurizio Sarri could look to take the player to Stamford Bridge, but West Ham finally have their man. West Ham and Lazio have been locked in negotiations over a fee for the player for several weeks. The deal was delayed with Lazio raising their asking price, while the Hammers were also thought to be interested in his team-mate Jordan Lukaku. Anderson joins what is a new-look West Ham squad under Manuel Pellegrini, with deals to sign both Jack Wilshere and Andriy Yarmolenko being confirmed recently.
