According to The Mirror, Bogdan is closing in on a switch to Scotland in a move to find regular game-time. The 30-year-old has been at Liverpool for three seasons, making two Premier League appearances in that time. This was after eight years with Bolton, where he made over 100 appearances in the Premier League and Championship. Liverpool are looking for a new goalkeeper to join the club this summer as they seek to replace number one Loris Karius after his high-profile errors in the Champions League final. Young Welsh international shot-stopper Danny Ward could step up and replace Bogdan as Jurgen Klopp’s third choice goalkeeper. Liverpool youngster Liam Millar is said to be closing in on a move to League One side Sunderland.

Millar, who was in fine form for the club’s Under-18 and Under-19 sides throughout the course of last season, is claimed by the Northern Echo to be on the verge of arriving at the Stadium of Light.

The Canadian international has often been tipped for big things on Merseyside but it seems in his efforts to accelerate his pursuit of first-team football, he will swap Liverpool for Sunderland.

It’s thought that Millar will initially become a member of the Black Cats’ youth setup, but there are plans in place for him to be integrated into the first-team under Jack Ross if he impresses.

The 18-year-old attacker was in fine form last term and scored a total of 19 goals in all competitions.

His impressive form at youth level with the Reds earned him a shock debut on the international stage with Canada, as he featured in his country’s clash with New Zealand earlier this year.

Ryan Kent closing in on Rangers loan deal .
Liverpool youngster Ryan Kent is close to joining Rangers on loan, according to reports in Scotland. Herald Scotland claims that Steven Gerrard is closing on another signing from Liverpool following the arrival of Ovie Ejaria. The player is due to become Gerrard’s 10th summer signing after making the move north of the border. Whilst highly-rated at Liverpool, Kent has become something of a serial loanee. He has had spells at Coventry, Barnsley and spent time at both SC Freiburg and Bristol City last season. The winger had been training with Liverpool as part of their pre-season campaign, featuring in friendlies against National League North side Chester and League Two’s Tranmere Rovers. Kent will be hoping he can get regular first-team football under his belt, under a manager he will know well. Gerrard has made a host of changes at Rangers as he prepares to rival Celtic in his first season of senior management.
