Now let me preface this article by saying – the arguments and opinions I make here, reflect the emotional roller coaster of a fan.

Let me first start off by saying, we – as fans of the club – should apologize to Antonio Conte for the way the club and players treated him. Two seasons ago, we were an absolute shambles. That in itself is an indicator that we had too much “player power” in this team (which I will get onto in more detail).

Conte, a man who took Juventus from the bottom to the top and won the league for three consecutive years, came to Chelsea and took our team to the top, winning the league comfortably.

He revolutionized the game with his 3-4-3. He was given a good team, and he worked with what he had and produced a system, that almost every team in the following season reverted to. He had a worse squad in the 2017-2018 season and still won the FA Cup. Nobody can deny that this man is a winner. There is a reason why, as fans, we loved him. He was a passionate tactical genius.

Leonardo backs Milan boss Gattuso amid Conte links

Leonardo backs Milan boss Gattuso amid Conte links Milan only signed their manager to a three-year deal in April and the new sporting director has no intention of parting with the 40-year-old just yet ."My view is shared by the club, Gattuso was the first to be confirmed, this has never been up for discussion," said Leonardo, who arrived in Milan as the Serie A club continued to overhaul its senior hierarchy under new owners Elliott Management. © Provided by Goal AC Milan head coach Gennaro Gattuso "It's normal that these things happen when great coaches are available, but none of us have talked to Conte.

Chelsea are happy to see Antonio Conte leave the club, reckons Alejandro Moreno. Moreno reckons Conte is angling for an exit and thinks Chelsea are willing to let him go. “I think it seems inevitable that he’s going to move on and I just don’t understand why ,” he said.

Now, I am not saying I agree with everything Conte did – for example – the way he dealt with Diego Costa. But as good as Costa was, he was a player who was unsettled since the beginning. He was unable to learn English and clearly desired to go back to Atletico Madrid. His mid-season tantrum to go to China was childlike. I really don’t want a player in our club who doesn’t want to be here – regardless of who they are. That blue shirt has to be worn with pride.

On Willian, half of the Chelsea jury is out on whether they even want him in the team. In his recent interview, Willian commented on his strange relationship with Conte.

“His philosophy, his way of dealing with things is very complicated. There were a few games … Sometimes we just don’t understand. You’re playing very well, then you get substituted. I do not understand. There were two times when I got substituted and I went straight to the locker room. It was hard to work with him”

Willian admits no chance he would have stayed at Chelsea under Conte

Willian admits no chance he would have stayed at Chelsea under Conte Willian has revealed there is ‘no chance’ he would have stayed at Chelsea under Antonio Conte, in an interview with the Evening Standard. The 30-year-old has also revealed that new manager Maurizio Sarri is encouraging an exciting brand of football in West London, with an emphasis on flair. Willian said: “The manager tells us to play, to enjoy ourselves on the pitch,” “Is it fun to play this way? I think so. We have a lot of players with quality up front, like Eden Hazard and Pedro. Players like that want to play football.” “That’s why he [Sarri] talked about ‘fun’ football [after arriving at Chelsea]. This is what we will try to do this season.” Despite winning two trophies in his two seasons at Stamford Bridge, Conte’s team had become known for an overly conservative style of play by the end of his tenure. To compound matters, a toxic dressing room atmosphere meant it was unlikely the Italian would return for the 2018-19 season. Asked if he would have remained in the capital had Conte not been sacked, Willian said: “No chance. No. I’m here because I want to play for Chelsea. I will only leave if Chelsea want me to go.” Chelsea square off against Arsenal in the Premier League on Saturday, and Willian is feeling confident in the team’s revamped scheme: “Now we have a different style, that’s why we can create problems for Arsenal.” “Of course, it will be a special game against Arsenal because it is a derby. It is always difficult against them. We have to prepare well during the week.

ANTONIO CONTE is set to leave Chelsea in the next 48 hours – with former Barcelona coach Luis Enrique being lined up to replace him. GETTY. Antonio Conte 's Chelsea beat Manchester United to win the FA Cup on Saturday.

Apparently, his “daughter was playing with the cell phone and she ended up putting those emojis over Conte,” Willian told ESPN Brasil. Ok, Willian – First things first. If you get substituted, it’s your duty to respect the manager and sit on the bench – regardless of whether you agree or not. Secondly, how can you disrespect your manager by putting cup emojis on him? And then have the nerve of blaming your daughter? I’m calling BS on that!

David Luiz is the worst defender one-versus-one and the most unreliable player in a back four (I hope Sarri doesn’t start him). He seems to give so much importance to the style of play rather than improving himself.

Luiz told HaytersTV:

“I’m very happy with his new philosophy, a philosophy to play nice football,’  This manager likes to play attractive football, he likes to play offensive and attacking football, so I’m very happy working hard trying always to show him my best. In two years with this new philosophy, everyone enjoys watching this type of football like you mentioned. All teams enjoy having possession of the ball. If you have the ball is easier to score goals, play nice football and win titles.”

Morata takes dig at Conte over style of play

Morata takes dig at Conte over style of play Alvaro Morata appears to have taken a surprising dig at former Chelsea head coach Antonio Conte for his style of play. Spanish outlet Sport reports that the striker believes he is more suited to Maurizio Sarri’s style because it offers more opportunities for the strikers to score. “The most important thing is the way we play now. Last season it was direct balls and for me to protect the ball in the air is not my strongest quality. Now I can attack the space, I can play one touch and go into the area for the crosses. It’s better for me. Sarri always works with the ball and when you always have the ball the strikers will have more chances.” The claims come as a surprise given Conte played such a key role in getting the player to Stamford Bridge. It was Conte who signed the player for Juventus during his time there but never got the chance to work with him. Under the Italian last season, Chelsea played a very direct and defensive style of play, something that was ultimately Conte’s undoing as the Blues went in search of more attractive football. Their search for that led them to Sarri, who impressed so many last season at Napoli with ‘Sarri-Ball’.

Why Rugani is perfect for Sarri at Chelsea . Antonio Conte has revealed how he regretted leaving his role as Italy manager and said would have stayed on after Euro 2016, had he not already signed a contract with Chelsea .

CHELSEA could live to regret a number of departures this summer, according to Sky Sports pundit Paul Merson. Chelsea let Nemanja Matic join Manchester United this summer. I wonder if they will come back to haunt them?

First of all – Why are we suddenly so obsessed with “playing beautifully”. I mean, it’s almost like ogling at your new neighbour’s hot wife. Yes! Man City plays a beautiful game. SO WHAT?? Chelsea never played beautiful football ever. When we had Didier Drogba, Frank Lampard, Ashely Cole, John Terry – we were pragmatic, we were physical, we were efficient. This new found lust for “beautiful football” is just unrealistic. The way to counter Man City is not by copying them, but rather by finding another out of the box solution – which a man like Conte is capable of.

Luiz should be sold! Willian should be sold! The hierarchy of power should be established. The manager should be respected. The power that players have at Chelsea is ridiculous!!!

Marina Granovskaia. Oh Lord!! An individual who pursued dance and music at college, and who was a personal assistant to Roman – is the DIRECTOR!

She bought in Alvaro Morata, Davide Zappacosta, Tiemoue Bakayoko, Antonio Rudiger, Danny Drinkwater, Ross Barkley, Emerson and Olivier Giroud. How many of these players did Conte REALLY want?

Sarri changes to big rules that Conte had put in place

Sarri changes to big rules that Conte had put in place Maurizio Sarri has wasted no time in making his mark at Chelsea following his arrival from Napoli. The Telegraph reports that the Italian has axed two huge rules that were put in place by former head coach Antonio Conte. The squad will no longer need to meet at hotels a day before a game, a routine that Conte was very keen to use throughout his tenure at Stamford Bridge. The Chelsea Harbour hotel was used the evening prior to a match at Stamford Bridge, but the players will now be allowed to stay at home with their families and instead report for the match on the day of the game. The Italian is also loosening the grip on the food available for the players at the club’s training ground. The latter was one of the bigger changes made by Conte, who was keen to keep the player’s nutrition simple and strict.

Why Antonio Conte and Chelsea would be making a big mistake by offloading Michy Batshuayi. Saturday’s shock defeat to Crystal Palace – a team that had, until that point, failed to score a goal let alone win a match – has quickly prompted rumours that the Belgian will be axed in January.

Antonio Conte has said he is very happy at Chelsea and is expected to hold talks on a new deal before the end of the season.

This man just took a broken team and won the damn Premier League, and the board gives him these guys! Seriously? He has all the right in the world to be disappointed.

But hey! Instead of trusting a guy who won two trophies in two seasons who gives it his all, let’s trust in a cigarette smoking, wannabe Pep Guardiola because he played “nice football” and finished second in Serie A.

Seriously Chelsea!

We are the most hated club in the league and now we have become the biggest laughing stock in the Premier League.

Everton target Drinkwater to be allowed to leave Chelsea on loan .
Chelsea are willing to let midfielder Danny Drinkwater leave the club on loan this summer, with Everton one of the clubs interested in signing him, the Independent reports. Everton and West Ham have been heavily linked with Drinkwater in recent weeks, and with Chelsea now set to complete the loan signing of Real Madrid’s Mateo Kovacic, the Blues are open to letting the England international leave on loan. Leicester City are now also thought to be considering the possibility of taking Danny Drinkwater back from Chelsea, having only left the club last summer. Drinkwater moved to London for £35million on deadline day last summer, but the midfielder featured rarely in his debut season at Stamford Bridge. The midfielder joined Leicester in 2011, making 193 league appearances for the club in his six seasons with the Foxes. Drinkwater was one of the key players in Leicester City’s title winning side two seasons ago and is now being much sought-after by a host of Premier League sides.
