Wan-Bissaka hails Palace's fans following Arsenal draw

Wan-Bissaka hails Palace's fans following Arsenal draw Aaron Wan-Bissaka has praised Crystal Palace’s supporters following the 2-2 draw against Arsenal on Sunday afternoon. Speaking to the Eagles’ official club website, the promising defender reflected on a tightly-contested affair with the Gunners and hailed the attitude of Palace’s home support. Wan-Bissaka turned in a cultured display at right-back in what was an eventful game at Selhurst Park, as Palace clinched a late point to stymie Arsenal’s 11-game winning run. Luka Milivojevic’s spot-kick gave the hosts the lead on the stroke of half-time but goals from Granit Xhaka and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang put Arsenal back in the ascendancy. However, Milivojevic stepped up again late on to convert from 12-yards, which left Palace to share the spoils from the match. Wan-Bissaka spoke of how Palace’s home faithful supported them throughout the contest against Unai Emery’s side and insisted that the team know that they are being backed in every single outing. The young full-back said: “I want to keep on doing what I’m doing. Arsenal are always a challenge but challenges help me. The fans are all good to us, they’re behind us and carry us all the way.

Aaron Wan - Bissaka (born 26 November 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays for Premier League club Crystal Palace as a defender.

Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson is unconcerned over reports linking Aaron Wan-Bissaka with a move to Manchester City.

The Eagles manager discussed the young right-back’s future at Selhurst Park during his pre-match press conference ahead of Palace’s encounter with Tottenham Hotspur.

As quoted by Football London, Hodgson was quick to insist that he has no concerns over the prospect of Wan-Bissaka departing South London. The former England boss said:

“I always wonder when I hear or see those reports what Kyle Walker and Danilo are thinking. It is very easy to link anybody with anybody. I have no idea if there is any truth in it – you would have to ask Pep Guardiola but I doubt he would give you an answer.”

Everton eyeing swoop for Wan-Bissaka

Everton eyeing swoop for Wan-Bissaka Everton are showing an interest in signing Crystal Palace right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka. According to TeamTalk, Everton are keen to bring him to Goodison Park after his impressive start to the season. Wan-Bissaka played in all but one Premier League match this season, which he missed via suspension, and has been one of Palace’s best players. The young defender is an England under-21 international and has already been touted with a potential senior call-up. The report claims that Everton are considering an offer with Ademola Lookman going to Selhurst Park as part of the deal. TeamTalk also state that Everton would have to wait until the summer to make their move, as Palace would price them out of a January deal. Everton are looking to potentially use Lookman to lower the price, as they seek for a long-term replacement for Seamus Coleman.

The sending-off of Aaron Wan - Bissaka (£4.1m) has had a big impact on managers' preparations for Gameweek 3 of Fantasy Premier League. His ban for the red card against Liverpool is for just one match so Wan - Bissaka ’s 21 per cent owners should keep him in their squad and look to bench him

“As far as we are concerned we have him as our player and he is under contract with us and we have no desire or intention of selling him, so it is not anything that occupies my waking moments, or sleeping moments either for that matter.”

Wan-Bissaka has established himself as a key part of Hodgson’s plans for the season ahead and has caught the eyes of many with some cultured displays for Palace.

In recent times, City have been linked with a swoop for the player, who is currently contracted to Palace until the summer of 2022 following his recent extension at the club.

Nevertheless, Hodgson does not appear to be fazed by the reports linking Wan-Bissaka with a move away, as the youngster continues to impress.
