The Blackhawks and Lightning swapped defensemen on a busy Friday in the NHL.

Chicago announced it has acquired Slater Koekkoek and a fifth-round pick from Tampa Bay for Jan Rutta and a seventh-round pick.

Koekkeck has one goal and adding no assists in nine games, while Rutta has two goals and four assists in 23 games.

The Flyers also dealt forward Jordan Weal to the Coyotes on Friday for an AHL player and a draft pick.
