Steve Sarkisian just turned down the Cardinals.

Arizona offered Sarkisian its offensive coordinator position, according to an ESPN report. But Sarkisian rejected it to return to Alabama.

Sarkisian was fired by the Falcons as the team's offensive coordinator on Dec. 31.

He previously served as the Crimson Tide's offensive coordinator for one game in 2017, but left to become Atlanta's offensive coordinator after the Crimson Tide fell to Clemson in the national championship.

Arizona finished 2018-19 with a 3-13 record and is slotted to receive the first-overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.

Buccaneers interested in former Cardinals coach Bruce Arians, feeling is mutual, report says.
Arians has previously said the only coaching job he would take would be with the Browns, but he could find a new home in Tampa Bay.
