Chelsea left angered by Courtois' recent behaviour

Chelsea left angered by Courtois' recent behaviour Chelsea have rejected Thibaut Courtois’ claims that the club had strictly agreed to sell him during the summer transfer window, according to a report from The Telegraph. The Blues offloaded the Belgian international to Real Madrid shortly before the window slammed shut in August but he was left frustrated by the ordeal that surrounded the move. The ex-Atletico Madrid loanee had reportedly been absent from pre-season training sessions at the club, prompting them to decide on his future.

Thibaut Courtois recently discussed his summer move from Chelsea to Real Madrid and insisted that he had ‘zero problems’ at Stamford Bridge, Goal reports.

The Belgian international was the subject of a transfer saga towards the end of the summer as he completed a late switch to Los Blancos after indicating to the Blues that he was keen on an exit.

Courtois’ contract was due to expire in the summer of 2019, which prompted Chelsea into agreeing to sell him to Real Madrid, who sought an upgrade on Keylor Navas in goal.

Courtois wants Hazard to join him at Real Madrid

Courtois wants Hazard to join him at Real Madrid Thibaut Courtois has revealed that he would love to see Eden Hazard leave Chelsea and join him at Real Madrid. But Eden is a top player and also my buddy, so if he came here it would be fun, but he has to make his choices.

This led Chelsea to recruit Kepa Arrizabalaga from Athletic Bilbao, making him the world’s most-expensive ever goalkeeper in the process.

Ahead of Real’s upcoming Champions League match against Ajax, Courtois discussed how his summer switch to the Bernabeu Stadium came about, insisting that there was no bad blood between him and Chelsea.

As quoted by Spanish news outlet ABC, he said:

“I don’t know any player that wouldn’t want to play for Real Madrid. I was really happy at Chelsea, I felt completely integrated at the club and I had great teammates. Zero problems.”

“But Real Madrid came knocking and obviously when Madrid show an interest, it’s the biggest call you can get in football.”

Hazard to tell Chelsea he wants Real move.
Eden Hazard is expected to inform Chelsea of his desire to join Real Madrid in the near future. Matt Law of the Telegraph reports that the player has not yet told the club about the decision he has made regarding his future. Reports in France have recently emerged in which Hazard confirms his mind is made up. The player was speaking in a documentary that is due to air later this week.
