Liverpool are not losing their nerve, fumes Klopp Jurgen Klopp has responded angrily to claims that Liverpool are losing their nerve in the Premier League title race. The Reds’ hopes of glory were dealt a significant blow on Sunday, following a 0-0 draw at Everton in the Merseyside derby. It was the fourth draw in six league games for Klopp’s men, meaning Manchester City now lead the way by a point. This dip in form has led to some claiming Liverpool are wilting under the pressure, which has not gone down well with Klopp.

Jurgen Klopp is remaining positive about Liverpool’s Premier League title chances, despite losing top spot.

The Reds came up short away to Everton on Sunday, producing a flat performance in an eventual 0-0 draw.

It was the second goalless affair in a row on their travels, following a forgettable contest at Manchester United.

A number of recent draws mean Manchester City are now one point clear in the title battle, with some even accusing Liverpool of buckling under the pressure.

Klopp was in typically bullish mood when discussing the current situation to Liverpoolfc.com, however, saying his side will keep battling until the very end:

With nine matches remaining there is still plenty to play for, but Liverpool must improve the consistency of their form.

Jurgen Klopp has stressed he believes Liverpool is the right club for him after Franz Beckenbauer claimed he would be the perfect candidate to take charge of Bayern Munich. Klopp watched his Liverpool side dump Bayern out of the Champions League Round of 16 in midweek with a 3-1 win at the Allianz Arena and sounds like he’s more than content with the progress the club is making. Speaking in his press conference ahead of today’s clash at Fulham, the German boss squashed Beckenbauer’s claims and insisted he feels he’s the right fit for Liverpool. “From my point of view, being here at Liverpool is a really good fit.
