Celta Vigo considering permanent Hoedt move

Celta Vigo considering permanent Hoedt move Southampton man Wesley Hoedt is making a positive impression during his loan spell at Celta Vigo, according to a report from Spanish news outlet Atlantico. The Saints allowed the Dutchman to complete a temporary move to the La Liga side, who are at serious risk of relegation this term after an underwhelming campaign so far. Hoedt was recruited to strengthen Miguel Cardoso’s back-line but has struggled to make an impact on proceedings, with Celta sat in 17th place and just above the drop zone.

Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Leo Bonatini says he would be open to making his Nottingham Forest stay permanent this summer.

Bonatini added that any discussions over his future will have to wait until the end of the season, as reported by the Express and Star.

The 24-year-old has not exactly hit the ground running at the City Ground, making just four appearances for the club since his January deadline day loan switch.

All of those have come from the substitutes bench, and he is yet to open his goalscoring account for Martin O’Neill’s side.

However, the Brazilian says he has enjoyed his short stay in Nottingham, explaining that the club has ‘very good conditions’.

He said:

“It is a really good team and they have very good conditions here. Even if we don’t achieve the playoffs and we are staying in the Championship next season, I would like to stay because I have found it really good. But of course I know that it is not just about me; I have a contract with Wolves. But I am enjoying being here. I think it depends on how I finish the season here. Wolves are doing well, too. I don’t know. It’s something we’ll just have to wait until the summer.”

The forward initially joined Wolves in August 2017 on a season-long loan and scored 12 Championship goals as Nuno Espirito Santo’s men gained promotion.
