Alli could return for Tottenham's trip to Saints Dele Alli could return in time for Tottenham Hotspur’s trip to Southampton this weekend. The England international has been sidelined in recent times but returned to full first-team training on Monday, with Sky Sports claiming that he could be in line to play against the Saints on Saturday. Alli has been out since sustaining a hamstring injury in Tottenham’s away win at Fulham on January 20. He will not be able to feature for Mauricio Pochettino’s side in their trip to Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League on Tuesday night but appears to have his sights set on a return to action at St Mary’s Stadium.

Tottenham Hotspur could be boosted by the return of Dele Alli for the trip to the St Mary’s Stadium tomorrow, according to a report on HITC.

The attacking midfielder has been out of action since picking up a hamstring injury in the away victory over Fulham in January.

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino has hinted that Alli could be back in the first-team squad for tomorrow’s clash, which isn’t good news for relegation-threatened Southampton.

When speaking about Alli, Pochettino said:

“Yes, that’s good news to be available. We need to wait tomorrow for the last training.”

“But in all aspects doing so well and hope he’s going to be available and maybe can play on Saturday.”
