The Ivory Coast international was not part of Crystal Palace’s match-day squad on Saturday, as the Eagles took on Watford in their FA Cup sixth round tie. Speaking after the game, Hodgson confirmed that Zaha had missed out after sustaining a knock during the last week’s loss to Brighton at Selhurst Park.

No, nothing really [injury-wise]. Wayne Hennessey’s fit again, Bakary Sako’s not trained but isn’t far from being fit, and Mamadou is recovering from his operation. It will be a while before he’s in rehab. Pape’s okay.

Palace have had an indifferent run of form, losing only 2 of their last five but only picking up the two wins to go alongside it.

They will be looking to pick up some valuable points against Watford, who sit in eighth place in the Premier League table.

Meanwhile, Palace continue to look over their backs, with the Eagles sitting only 7 points off the 40 point mark that would more than likely keep them in the Premier League.
