Chelsea eased their way into the quarter-finals of the Europa League after defeating Dynamo Kiev 8-0 over two legs.

The Blues headed to Ukraine with a three-goal advantage following their comprehensive victory at Stamford Bridge.

Maurizio Sarri made changes to the line-up that was held to a 1-1 draw by Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday in the Premier League.

Olivier Giroud opened the scoring after five minutes before doubling his tally for the evening with another goal in the 33rd minute.

Marcos Alonso proceeded to wrap the game up by half-time for the visitors as he scored just before the interval.

Giroud bagged his hat-trick in the 59th minute to ensure he would be taking the match ball home from Kiev.

Callum Hudson-Odoi wrapped the win up for the Blues as he continued his form in the Europa League.

Take a look at four findings from the match, as Chelsea booked their place in the final eight of the competition.

Sarri believes Hudson-Odoi can be 'at the top' in a few years time.
Maurizio Sarri has insisted that Callum Hudson-Odoi has great potential to be one of the best players in world football, however he still has plenty to learn. The 18-year old winger scored the third and final goal for the Blues on Thursday, as they beat Dynamo Kyiv 3-0 in a Europa League tie. Hudson-Odoi has plenty of fans online who have been itching to see him feature in the first-team more often this season. Despite heavy interest from Bayern Munich in January, the England youth international remained in London, and Sarri was glad to see him stay.
