According to Kicker, via the Daily Record, Borussia Dortmund are not willing to meet Celtic’s valuation of the Scottish left-back. The report claims that Dortmund feel Celtic’s valuation of Tierney is too expensive, with them wanting a fee in the region of £25m. Kicker claims that Italian scout Nicola Liguori has dubbed Tierney the “new Patrice Evra” after watching his impressive performances for Celtic this season, both domestically and in the Europa League.

Leicester themselves are known admirers, with Brendan Rodgers all too familiar with the player from his time with Celtic. It is Rodgers who is widely credited for his development in Scotland.
