Jerry Jones couldn't be more thrilled to have Odell Beckham Jr. out of the NFC East.

While speaking with FOX before the Errol Spence-Mikey Garcia fight at AT&T Stadium on Saturday, the Cowboys owner discussed the blockbuster trade that sent shockwaves through the NFL.

When asked about Cleveland's acquisition of the coveted wide receiver from the Giants, Jones was grateful for the move that will prevent his team from facing Beckham twice each season.

"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" he said.

The Browns acquired Olivier Vernon for right guard Kevin Zeitler and safety Jabrill Peppers, who both got dealt to the Giants. Cleveland also sent its 2019 first-round pick (17th overall) and the 2019 third-round selection (95th overall) they were originally dealt in a 2018 trade with the Patriots.

Beckham is guaranteed to boost the Browns' offense after catching 144 passes for 1,874 yards and 16 touchdowns against NFC East teams in his career alone.

The two-time All-Pro and three-time Pro Bowl selection has 390 catches for 5,476 yards and 44 scores in five years since being drafted by New York.

Giants RB Saquon Barkley weighs in on Odell Beckham Jr. trade: 'I was sad to see him go'.
“I was sad to see him go,” Barkley told NJ Advance Media. “But, hopefully he continues to have a great career there in Cleveland.” Barkley said he spoke with Beckham shortly after the deal was announced. “We talked over Facetime, he had just gotten traded, so I don’t think he was really happy about it,” Barkley said. “He just gave me some advice about how to handle stuff in the league. He was the same old big brother to me that he’s always been.” Barkley rushed for 1,307 yards and 11 touchdowns in 16 games for New York as a rookie last season. He also added four receiving scores.
