Eagles cornerback Jalen Mills and Wizards forward Devin Robinson were involved in an altercation, resulting in both players from different leagues being arrested.

According to a police report obtained by NBC Philadelphia, the two players were outside a Washington, D.C. nightclub when an argument turned into a physical fight just before 3 a.m. ET. It's not clear what sparked the incident.

Both players were arrested for disorderly affray, a charge for public fighting. Mills paid a “small fee” and was released, but he will have a court date unless the charges are dropped. Robinson, however, was injured in the fight and taken to Sibley Hospital for treatment.

Danny Drinkwater arrested on suspicion of drink driving

Danny Drinkwater arrested on suspicion of drink driving Danny Drinkwater is in police custody after being arrested on suspicion of drink driving, report the Mirror. The Chelsea midfielder crashed his car late on Monday night, following the Blues’ 2-0 win over West Ham, in which he played no part. It is believed that Drinkwater left a party in Greater Manchester before his Range Rover hit a Skoda shortly after midnight on Tuesday morning. The 29-year-old was treated for injuries, along with a female passenger and the driver of the Skoda. It is the latest setback in Drinkwater’s increasingly stuttering career, having thrived at Leicester City during their 2015/16 Premier League title triumph.

The Wizards took action quickly, releasing a statement Saturday that said Robinson will not be back with the team next season.

“We are aware of the incident this morning involving Devin and are disappointed in his actions. We will not extend a qualifying offer to him for the 2019-20 season,” the team’s statement said.

The Eagles also issued a statement Saturday morning as they acknowledged the altercation, but the team did not reveal any other details.

"The Philadelphia Eagles are aware of the situation involving defensive back Jalen Mills and are continuing to gather more information. No further comment will be provided at this time," per phillyvoice.com.

Mills, 25, will become a free agent in 2020 after playing three seasons with the Eagles. He was selected in the seventh round of the 2016 NFL Draft. Robinson, 24, just finished his second season in the NBA after he went undrafted in 2017.
