Jonny Hayes has made something of an unexpected return to the Celtic first-team picture under Neil Lennon, and he is loving every single moment.

The winger got the nod over Scott Sinclair in Sunday’s Scottish Cup semi-final against Aberdeen, and played a big part in his side’s convincing 3-0 win that puts the Hoops on the verge of the treble treble.

Celtic fans will recall a serious injury sustained by Hayes back in the 2017-18 season, and the Irishman conceded that he didn’t know if he was going to be able to resume his playing career.

Celtic's 2019/20 home kit leaked online

Celtic's 2019/20 home kit leaked online Celtic’s alleged 2019/20 home kit has been leaked online by Footy Headlines. The kit hasn’t been received well by the Celtic fans, who were hoping to see a better effort from New Balance. The shirt is based on a similar template to the Liverpool kit and will be officially revealed this month. It is predominantly white with the trademark hoops sitting in the front, back and lower sleeve panels. As used in some seasons before, the hoops increase in size from the top to the bottom of the kit. It is a shirt that will divide the opinion of the Celtic fans, but we will find out soon if this leaked version is actually correct or not.

The moments are piling up fast for Fitzgerald, who can make more memories on Sunday when he and the Cardinals meet the Carolina Panthers in the NFC Championship Game. Coming off a stunning eight-catch performance against the Green Bay Packers that saw him amass a franchise

Speaking to Four Four Two, the 31-year-old said:

“When I got injured, to be honest I did worry this move might not work out.”

“I broke my leg and two or three months into the rehab I was still feeling the pain every day. I didn’t know if I was going to come back and there were times when you think you’ll never get back to being the same player.”

“Since I had the injury I’ve decided that every moment I have on the pitch is there to be cherished,”

“I just love getting out there and if I can contribute in a positive way then all the better.”

The forward’s contract runs until the end of next season, and it seems as though he wants to squeeze out every possible minute of football in that time.

Jozo Simunovic 'blessed' to net winner in Billy McNeill's honour.
Celtic defender Jozo Simunovic revealed that scoring the winner against Kilmarnock to commemorate club legend Billy McNeill was his ‘destiny’, the Daily Record report. The 24-year-old, who joined the club from Dinamo Zagreb back in 2015, rose highest with a powerful header in the second half to secure a valuable three points for Neil Lennon’s side. The Bosnian currently wears the No 5 shirt, formally graced by club legend McNeill, who sadly passed away on Monday.
