Dzeko is hoping that the Italian giants offer him a deal, but would be open to leaving if they failed to do so.

West Ham are said to be keen to secure a deal for Dzeko, if they can get Roma to sell for an acceptable fee.

Roma are currently demanding €15m for the Bosnian international, with West Ham yet to meet their demands.

Dzeko has scored 86 goals in 171 appearances for Roma since joining the club from Manchester City in 2015 for a reported fee of €11m.

West Ham could miss out on Dzeko because of Antonio Conte.
West Ham could be set for a blow in their pursuit of Edin Dzeko if Antonio Conte takes over at Roma. According to Calcio Mercato, Conte could be the next manager of Roma and his arrival may spell the end of West Ham’s interest in Dzeko. The report claims that Conte would want to renew Dzeko’s contract and keep him at the club for the foreseeable future. Dzeko has been linked with a move away from Roma for a number of months, with the Italian side reportedly wanting €25m for his signature. Inter and West Ham have reportedly been battling it out to sign the Bosnian, but he could now be set to stay at Roma.
