Celtic defender Jack Hendry has picked up an injury worry after a reserve game clash with Rangers this week.

The central defender was taken off in the 49th minute of the game, with a suspected injury – as revealed by the Twitter account of Rangers’ reserve side.

Hendry was gaining some valuable minutes on the pitch, but will now be hoping that the injury is not serious enough to end his season.

He has made 15 appearances for Celtic in all competitions this season and could yet play a part in their push for the domestic treble in the next month.

Celtic are closing in on the Scottish league title and booked their place in the cup final on Sunday as they beat Aberdeen 3-0.
