Yet another big name is throwing his name into consideration for the 2019 NBA Draft.

Virginia star De'Andre Hunter declared for the draft Monday through a video post on Instagram.

"Being at the University of Virginia has been an amazing experience" Hunter wrote beneath his announcement. "From being a redshirt to winning a national championship, the journey has been unbelievable. I want to say thank you to Coach Bennett and the coaching staff for challenging me everyday to become not only a better basketball player but a better man off the court. I am forever grateful for them.

The Cavaliers won their first national championship in 2019, defeating Texas Tech, 85-77. Hunter played a big part in that.

The redshirt sophomore averaged 15.2 points and 5.1 rebounds while shooting 52 percent from the field in 2018-19. He also shot 43.8 percent from behind the arc.

Hunter, a 6-7 forward, is considered to be one of the top prospects in this year's draft. Many draft boards project him to be selected with a top 10 pick.

He is seen as a versatile defender with touch from the outside, and is expected to develop into a quality 3-and-D player.
