Manchester United have lost their last three games in all competitions but Maurizio Sarri is expecting a response when they face Chelsea.

Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri has suggested that his future is with Chelsea as his first season in England comes to a close. Sarri joined the club in the summer after leaving Italian side Napoli but has received mixed reviews since arriving at Stamford Bridge. The Italian however currently sees his side sitting in fourth place, two points ahead of Arsenal who occupy fifth. Sarri has also guided his team to the semi-final’s of the Europa League, with Chelsea drawing 1-1 against Eintracht Frankfurt as the London club take an away goal with them back to England.

Ex-Blues midfielder Gus Poyet has praised the Italian for a strong debut campaign in the Premier League and feels he deserves another year at the helm.
“Will I stay here next season? As far as I’m concerned, yes. I want to stay, English football has unique rhythms and atmospheres.”
Sarri’s side could also qualify for the Champions League with victory in the Europa League, and the Blues will be looking to progress to the final in the second leg of their semi final against Eintracht Frankfurt on Thursday.
Pedro scored a crucial away goal for the Blues in the first leg last week, though Blues boss Sarri believes his side deserved more than a 1-1 draw against the Bundesliga side, before adding that Chelsea will be in a position to compete for the Premier League title in the next two years.
“We deserved to beat Eintracht, they are a good team to face at a difficult time of the season. In England the game is played at very high levels, perhaps the highest there are today, all in a wonderful atmosphere and with the stadiums always full. I am sure that in two years of work we will be closer to the leaders.”
