The Cherries will offer Asmir Begovic as a makeweight to land the England international, who has impressed in the Championship this season, despite Stoke’s misfortunes. Given that Crystal Palace did not have a point this time last season Roy Hodgson will hardly be panicking but it is safe to say that the underwhelming goalless draw with Newcastle at Selhurst Park has left him worried.

Howe also confirmed during his press conference that Asmir Begovic is set to miss out once again.

Young keeper Mark Travers will take his place again after making his debut last weekend.

Both sides go into their final game of the season on the back of wins last weekend.

Crystal Palace join race for Nathanial Clyne.
Liverpool defender Nathanial Clyne spent the second half of the season on loan at seaside club Bournemouth where he received regular first-team minutes. The English defender struggled to get back into the Liverpool team because of the success of Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andrew Robertson before he made the switch in January.
