West Ham agree £3m deal with Augsburg for Reece Oxford

West Ham agree £3m deal with Augsburg for Reece Oxford West Ham youngster Reece Oxford is edging closer to a move to Bundesliga side Augsburg after the two clubs agreed a £3m deal, Sky Sports report. The report suggests that Augsburg are attempting to agree personal terms with the defender before their final Bundesliga game against Wolfsburg. The 20-year old, who has spent previous seasons with fellow Bundesliga outfit Borussia Mönchengladbach, joined Augsburg on loan back in January and has impressed boss Martin Schmidt. Oxford was tipped to become a future Hammers captain after breaking through the academy in 2014, however, the defender has made just eight Premier League appearances since.

Gustavo Leonardo Cuéllar Gallegos (born October 14, 1992) is a Colombian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Brazilian Série A club Flamengo.

West Ham said they will sign Alex Song from Barcelona if the midfielder can pass a medical.

West Ham have reportedly agreed a £24.3m deal with Flamengo for Colombia midfielder Gustavo Cuellar, according to South American journalist Gustavo Henrique Dando Choque, cited by Claret and Hugh.

The report claims that the Hammers will pay the fee in three instalments, with the midfielder set to sign the contract in July following the Copa America.

Cuellar could also remain at Flamengo until December as part of the deal before making the move to the London Stadium.

The 26-year-old joined Flamengo back in January 2017 for £1.6m from Colombian side Deportivo Cali.

Since then, the midfielder has been a key member for the Brazilian based side, making over 100 appearances.

The midfielder has five senior Colombia caps to his name and could prove to be a shrewd signing by the Hammers if the deal goes through.

Cuellar is regarded as a ball playing midfielder who isn’t afraid of a tackle, so could be a possible replacement for Declan Rice, who has been heavily linked with a move away this summer.

Celtic can sign Harper for compensation package worth £235k.
Celtic are pursuing a deal to sign Rekeem Harper from West Brom this summer and could be forced to pay just £235,000 to cover the cost of a compensation package. The 19-year-old sees his deal at The Hawthorns expire in the coming weeks, and despite the Baggies’ efforts, he has yet to put pen to paper on an extended stay with the Championship club. Harper is regarded as one of West Brom’s most promising players, and the club are understood by The Express and Star to have made their second and final contract offer to their young midfielder.
