Steven Naismith set to miss Scottish Cup final Hearts manager Craig Levein isn’t expecting striker Steven Naismith to be fit in time for the Scottish Cup final against Celtic later this month. The 32-year-old hasn’t been seen on the pitch since suffering a knee injury back in March which required surgery. Naismith has been one of Hearts’ standout performer this season when fully fit, scoring 14 times in 27 appearances in all competitions. The experienced striker, who is currently on loan from Norwich City, is set to make his move with Hearts a permanent one in the summer despite his injury troubles.

Celtic ended their Scottish Premiership season with a 2-1 victory over Hearts on trophy day thanks to a double from Mikey Johnston.

The hosts got off to an exceptional start when the youngster exchanged passes with Ewan Henderson in the box before thumping the ball past Bobby Zlamal.
