Antonio Brown still believes that what he brings to the table is special. "I’m grateful to be here and continue to put my will on display," Brown said, saying he believes his work ethic is " contagious " in the locker room.

New receiver Antonio Brown shows no trace of the malcontent rap that hastened his end in Pittsburgh; he's impressing on the practice field. The Raiders signed controversial guard Richie Incognito on Tuesday and not-quite-as-controversial receiver Antonio Brown loved the move.

Antonio Brown still believes that what he brings to the table is special.

The Raiders wide receiver met with the media following Tuesday's OTA session full of excitement about the prospect of the season ahead.

"I’m grateful to be here ...and continue to put my will on display," Brown said, saying he believes his work ethic is "contagious" in the locker room.

Added Brown: "We’re bringing the juice. Challenging each other every day. Holding each other accountable."

His comments come after Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger apologized last week for perhaps being too harsh on Brown in 2018, an incident that many believe ignited a rift and led to the receiver's trade to Oakland following a drama-filled season that saw Pittsburgh finish second in the AFC North and left out of the playoffs.

Matt LaFleur injury update: Packers coach wheels around OTAs.
LaFleur suffered a torn Achilles playing basketball last Wednesday and underwent surgery on Sunday to repair the ruptured tendon. "I know I'm supposed to be off it for the next four weeks or so," LaFleur told reporters. "Hopefully I'll be back at least in a walking boot by training camp. ... I know a few years back, I remember when Sean Payton broke his leg on the sideline. I don't anticipate coaching from the press box or anything like that. "I think as long as I handle my business and follow the doctors' orders, I don't foresee it being an issue come Week 1.
