According to a report on the Mirror, Norwich are set to meet with Tottenham on August 10 away at Spurs, although these fixtures have not yet been verified.

Premier League fixtures were due to be released on Thursday later this week, however, they have supposedly been leaked online a day early – revealing a full programme of games.

Newly promoted Norwich may have been hoping for an easier game as they make their debut back in the Premier League, however, they have been given an away game against Spurs who finished fourth in the Premier League last season.

Norwich had an outstanding season in the 2018/19 campaign, they finished fives points ahead of second place Sheffield United, and a big 11 points ahead of promotion hopefuls Leeds, winning the Championship with 94 points.

On the other hand, Spurs ended their campaign on a low. They faced Liverpool in the Champions League final and ended up losing 2-0.

It might take a lot for Mauricio Pochettino to get his Spurs side back to full confidence and so perhaps meeting with them on the first game of the season will work in Norwich’s favour.

Norwich sporting director rubbishes links with Mignolet.
Norwich City sporting director Stuart Webber has laughed off speculation linking his side with a £15m swoop for Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet. Webber has rubbished the claims that Norwich are interested in signing Mignolet, especially for £15m. The Canaries are set to play in the Premier League next season after securing promotion from the Championship – winning the title earlier this month. Watford, Bournemouth and Norwich have all been touted with interest in Mignolet, but the newly-promoted side can now be ruled out as contenders for his signature. Speaking to The Pink’Un, Webber said this: “Simon Mignolet. I have to say that made me laugh.
