Burke's dream move to Celtic deemed unlikely

Burke's dream move to Celtic deemed unlikely Having spent the second half of the season on loan with the Scottish champions Celtic, the Albion forward wants to make his loan move a permanent one. However, with the former manager Brendan Rogers leaving the percentages of Oliver Burke staying have diminished as it is being reported by the Express and Star that new Celtic boss Neil Lennon isn’t too keen on the forward. Since the appointment of Lennon, it’s safe to say that Burke wasn’t a personal favourite. All this after having a blistering start to his Celtic career scoring four goals in his first seven league games under former manager Brendan Rogers.

Goal’s report states he will be part of the West Ham squad that take part in the Premier League Asia Trophy after scoring eight goals in League One last season.

However, should he fail to cement a first-team spot, he could well move on to pursue regular game time elsewhere and it appears a number of clubs are keen.

The player is under contract until next summer, which wil leave the Hammers with a decision to make if he is not in their first-team plans.

He may leave the London Stadium for nothing next year if the Premier League side decide against cashing in on him.
