Celtic midfielder Olivier Ntcham has reportedly told friends that he wants to leave the club this summer.

According to Football Insider, Ntcham has revealed to his close friends that he is intending to move away from Scotland ahead of next season.

The report claims that he is unsettled at Celtic and is weighing up his options over where his next move will be.

He joined the club from Manchester City for a fee in the region of £4.5m in 2017 and has scored 14 goals in 77 games for Celtic in all competitions – including five in 30 this season.

Marseille are said to be interested in a deal for Ntcham, but Porto have now backed away from the race.

Celtic are demanding £12-14m for Ntcham, just two years on from his £4.5m move to Scotland. The report does state, though, that Celtic feel as though his realistic valuation is only £7m.

Marseille's UEFA sanction could put end to Ntcham pursuit.
Marseille have been tracking Celtic midfielder Olivier Ntcham in recent months and were expected to make a concrete offer for the Frenchman this summer. However, according to L’Equipe, cited by GFFN, the Ligue 1 side are struggling to meet UEFA’s Finacial Fair Play regulations and will have to bring in €50m in player sales by the end of the month to avoid further punishment. The news means the French side will more than likely end their pursuit of midfielder Ntcham to concentrate on meeting UEFA’s requirements. The 23-year-old, who joined Celtic from Manchester City back in 2017 in a £4.5m deal, is also being tracked by Portuguese giants FC Porto.
