Liverpool are reportedly looking to go back in for Lyon ’ s Nabil Fekir this summer, according to reports in France. As per French outlet Le Progres, the Reds could try their luck once again this year after missing out on a deal to sign Fekir during the previous summer window.

Liverpool are reportedly looking to go back in for Lyon’s Nabil Fekir this summer, according to reports in France.

As per French outlet Le Progres, the Reds could try their luck once again this year after missing out on a deal to sign Fekir during the previous summer window.

The report claims that initial contact about a deal has been made, but the club are not willing to meet the €50 million price tag.

Fekir’s failed move to Anfield was one of the stories of the summer last year, with the Frenchman coming ever so close to joining the Reds.

To this day, it has not been confirmed as to why the move fell through after reports emerged on social media that appeared to show the player in Liverpool colours, taking part in official interviews for the club’s TV channel.

Fekir has reportedly been told he will be able to leave the Ligue 1 side this summer but Jean Michel Aulas has proven to be a tricky negotiator in the past, meaning any deal will be difficult for the Reds to pull off.
