LASK Linz have received an enquiry for Southampton target Goiginger
LASK Linz vice-president Jurgen Werner has confirmed that the Austrian club have received an enquiry for Thomas Goiginger, who has been linked with a summer switch to Southampton. The Saints are believed to be in the race to sign the winger as they begin to prepare for the 2019/20 campaign. The young forward enjoyed an impressive season in Germany with Mainz, scoring 14 times in the Bundesliga, attracting interest from Southampton and a number of other Premier League sides.
Mateta joined Mainz from Lyon last summer, after failing to score in two senior appearances for the French giants during a two-year spell.
