Vincent Thill "interested" in Norwich move

Vincent Thill Metz midfielder Vincent Thill is “very strongly interested” in a potential switch to Norwich City this summer, according to journalist Joris Crolbois. The 19-year-old was linked with the Canaries last week, as Daniel Farke looks to improve his squad ahead of his side’s return to the Premier League. Thill spent the 2018/19 season on loan at Pau, scoring 10 goals and bagging three assists during his time there. He also has 23 caps for Luxembourg, making his debut in March 2016, at the age of just 16. Thill became his country’s youngest goalscorer of all time when he found the net two months later, in a 3-1 defeat to Nigeria.

Norwich City are scouting Paderborn left-back Jamilu Collins during international duty.

According to German outlet Kicker, via journalist Manuel Veth, Norwich are watching Collins as he plays for Nigeria in the Africa Cup this summer.

Collins played 34 games for Paderborn in the 2. Bundesliga this season as the German club secured an incredible promotion to the Bundesliga, having been in the 3. Liga the year before.

The 24-year-old has been capped five times by Nigeria at international level and joined Paderborn from Rijeka in 2017.

Following Paderborn’s promotion, it seems unlikely that Collins would want to join Norwich as a back-up – with Jamal Lewis the first-choice under Daniel Farke.

Philip Heise also joined Norwich in January, but has yet to make a first-team appearance for the club since his move from Germany.

Norwich eyeing swoop for Josip Drmic.
Norwich City are eyeing up a deal to sign Borussia Monchengladbach forward Josip Drmic this summer. According to Sport Bild, via Fohlen, Norwich are interested in bringing Drmic over to England ahead of next season. The report claims that Drmic will become a free agent next month upon the expiry of his contract at Monchengladbach. Drmic will then be free to move to the club of his choice, with Norwich now in the running to sign him. Teemu Pukki and Dennis Srbeny are currently Norwich’s only senior forwards, leaving a space for another striker to come in and compete for a place next season.
