Norwich boss Daniel Farke has revealed that he and his side are not fazed by taking on Liverpool on the opening day of the Premier League season. Farke, who guided the Canaries back to the top flight in an impressive second season with the Norfolk side, has revealed that he is not scared by the task of facing the reigning European Champions in the Canaries first game back in the top flight. Vincent Thill "interested" in Norwich move
Metz midfielder Vincent Thill is “very strongly interested” in a potential switch to Norwich City this summer, according to journalist Joris Crolbois. The 19-year-old was linked with the Canaries last week, as Daniel Farke looks to improve his squad ahead of his side’s return to the Premier League. Thill spent the 2018/19 season on loan at Pau, scoring 10 goals and bagging three assists during his time there. He also has 23 caps for Luxembourg, making his debut in March 2016, at the age of just 16. Thill became his country’s youngest goalscorer of all time when he found the net two months later, in a 3-1 defeat to Nigeria.

Grant Hanley
After the first international break of the season, in September, Hanley only made two – substitute – appearances in the Championship. The Norwich captain appears to be Farke’s 4th choice at centre-back, so Hanley need to step up his game in pre-season and show he has what it takes.
Marcel Franke
Another centre-back who has fallen out of favour at Norwich. Franke has been sent out on loan twice in the last two seasons, but now has a chance to impress Farke in pre-season and have a show at playing Premier League football next term.
James Husband
Husband started Norwich’s opener against Birmingham last season and was then swiftly frozen out of the first-team and sent on loan to Fleetwood. The left-back has failed to impress since joining Norwich, but could come back for pre-season in better shape following his year on loan.
Bushiri signs four-year deal with Norwich

Srbeny is currently Norwich’s only senior striker aside from Teemu Pukki. The German has only scored four goals since joining the club in January 2018, but could keep his place as a back-up option if he steps up his game in pre-season.
Philip Heise
Heise joined Norwich in January, but failed to make a single appearance for the club in the second half of the season. He will want to show what he can do in pre-season so that he can fill in for Jamal Lewis if he is ever absent from the team.
Louis Thompson
Thompson impressed at the start of last season, playing in midfield and on the right, but was plagued with injuries throughout the year. If he can stay fit, he will be a useful asset for Daniel Farke next season.

Nelson Oliveira reportedly close to AEK Athens move
Nelson Oliveira is reportedly close to a move away from Norwich City according to reports. Sdna.Gr report that Greek side AEK Athens are interested in a move for the Portuguese forward, and are close to agreeing on a deal to bring Oliveira to the Greek capital. The 27-year-old spent the second half of last season out on loan at Reading, having been cast out of Daniel Farke’s side during the opening months of the season. It had been thought that Reading were keen on a permanent deal for Oliveira, but not offer was put in place.
