Celtic face competition from Serie A giants Juventus in the race for the highly rated Rekeem Harper, while Liverpool and Tottenham are also both interested in a move for the midfielder.

Harper is out of contract with Championship outfit West Brom this summer, and the Hoops are said to be keen on signing the 19-year-old for a compensation fee.

However, according to the Daily Record via the Mirror, Juve have entered the race to sign Harper and the Old Lady are reportedly confident of pipping Celtic, Liverpool and Spurs to the box-to-box midfielder’s signature.

Harper has thus far failed to agree on a new deal with the Baggies, though new boss Slaven Bilic is looking to convince the midfielder to extend his stay at the Hawthorns beyond this summer.

The 19-year-old made 23 appearances for West Brom in all competitions last season, and the midfielder would certainly add energy and physicality to the Hoops’ midfield.
