Southampton join race for Juventus striker Stephy Mavididi

Southampton join race for Juventus striker Stephy Mavididi Southampton are thought to be one of nine English sides keen on loaning Juventus forward Stephy Mavididi this summer. According to TeamTalk, the Saints, along with Newcastle, Everton, Aston Villa, Burnley, Leeds, Fulham, Derby, and Middlesbrough are all keen on the 21-year-old this summer ahead of a potential season-long loan deal. Mavididi ended his eight-year association with Arsenal last summer to link up with Juventus’ Under-23 side. The English striker enjoyed a productive campaign in the Under-23 side and earned a first-team debut back in April in Juventus’ 2-1 defeat to Spal.

Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci has said he was "misunderstood" and "too hasty" in saying teammate Moise Kean was partly responsible for the racist abuse the teenager suffered during a Serie A match on Tuesday.

Juventus forward Moise Kean was subjected to racist abuse from the stands as the Serie A leaders won at Cagliari, but He is a young man and he has to learn, but certain things from the crowd also shouldn't be heard.' Cagliari president Tommaso Giulini denied the abuse received by Kean was racist.

Kean and Nicolo Zaniolo were late for a team meeting and were left out of Italy’s squad to face Belgium on Saturday, with Juve officials left unimpressed by the striker’s behaviour.

Moise Kean to Everton - would he be an exciting signing?

Moise Kean to Everton - would he be an exciting signing? Moise Kean would be a hugely exciting signing for Everton, should a deal be agreed. Journalist Gianluca Di Marzia claims the Toffees have “contacted” Juventus about signing the highly-rated striker. It is an audacious attempt from Everton, considering Kean’s talent and potential. The Italy international is still just 19 years of age and is seen as a future leading striker for the Azzurri. He scored seven goals in 17 appearances for Juve last season, helping them win yet another Serie A title. The teenager has two goals already for Italy, having won just three caps for his country.

Everton are interested in a move for Juventus striker Moise Kean , report Tuttomercatoweb. The Toffees have not yet made an offer, but have signalled they are ready to negotiate for the forward . Everton 's best hope is that Juventus are consumed by a short term approach and decide they need

The report claims that the Italian giants, who were planning on extending the 19-year-old’s stay in Turin to 2024, are now considering rethinking their original plans.

The Toffees have been in contact with Juventus in recent weeks regarding the highly-rated striker, and may now firm up their initial interest.

Kean is regarded as a future star and has already featured heavily in Juventus’ first-team.

The teenager made 17 appearances last season, scoring seven times, and could prove to be the type of forward Everton boss Marco Silva is after.

Kean appears to have a real eye for goal, something lacking at Goodison Park in recent years.

The Italian has also caught the eye with his powerful displays and appears to have similar qualities to former Toffees striker Romelu Lukaku.

A move for the forward may well come at a price, however, it may well be one Silva decides to pursue following the latest developments.
