Arsenal have been offered the chance to sign Nabil Fekir for just £30 million, according to a report from The Mirror, but should they make their move for the Frenchman? According to French outlet L’Equipe, cited by the Liverpool Echo, the Gunners have initiated contact with the Ligue 1 side, however, they haven’t made a formal offer for the creative playmaker.

Unai Emery has been given a transfer budget of just £45m this summer, and it is likely a deal for Fekir could cost the Gunners up to £30m, a figure cheaper than a fee Liverpool nearly paid for the playmaker last summer.

AC Milan approach Lyon for Liverpool target Fekir Liverpool look set to face competition from AC Milan should they pursue a move for Lyon’s Nabil Fekir this summer. The Frenchman’s future with the Ligue 1 side has come under intense scrutiny with the midfielder’s contract set to expire next summer, and Liverpool have long been linked with a move for the 25-year-old. However, according to Get French Football News, Milan look set to rival the Reds for the midfielder with the Serie A giants having made an approach to Lyon over the availability of Fekir this summer.

The nine-time France international would bring a different dimension to the Gunners if he were to team up with his old cohort Alexandre Lacazette.

Arsenal need to recruit well ahead of the new season if they are to have any chance of building on Emery’s first season, with defensive reinforcements a priority for the Spaniard.

However, if the Gunners can sell Ozil, who doesn’t appear to fit Emery’s system, a move for Fekir could prove to be an excellent piece of business.

The 2018 World Cup winner, who does have his injury problems, could be the missing link going forward for Arsenal if kept fully fit.

It appears that a lot needs to go the Gunners’ way to complete a deal for Fekir, however, it looks like Arsenal are keen on the French playmaker.

Striker offered to Arsenal snubs Premier League, so what does this mean for the Gunners?.
Real Madrid forward Mariano Diaz is reportedly not interested in a move to Arsenal this summer, despite being offered to the club, so what does this say for the Gunners? The 25-year old has failed to live up to expectations at the Santiago Bernabeu this re-signing last season, having excelled in France with Lyon. The former Dominican Republic international scored 18 goals in 34 Ligue 1 games in his first full season in France, before Madrid brought him back to the Spanish capital the following summer.
