Tottenham are set to beat Liverpool and Arsenal in the race to sign Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos, according to a report from Spanish outlet AS. The 22-year-old has been busy in recent weeks as he helped Spain win the European Under-21 Championships but now that the tournament is over, he can spend time to decide on his plans for the future. It looks like Zinedine Zidane has decided that Ceballos is surplus to requirements at the Santiago Bernabeu and as such, he is willing to let him leave in order to help balance the books after Madrid have already made significant outlays this summer for the likes of Eden Hazard and Luka Jovic, amongst others.
