Several Ligue 1 sides are chasing the winger, with Boufal looking likely to return to France after a difficult spell with Southampton.

The Saints winger joined from Lille back in 2016, but has never really got going at St Mary’s.

Boufal closing in on €10m move to Nice Southampton are reportedly in advanced negotiations with OCG Nice over a deal for Sofiane Boufal. According to L’Equipe, via Sport Witness, Nice are eager to sign Boufal and could be set to bring him back to Ligue 1 for a fee in the region of €10m. The report claims that Celta Vigo have shown an interest in signing him, after his loan spell in Spain last season, but Nice now look set to secure his signature. Boufal is said to be keen on a move to Nice and will need to agree personal terms with the French side before a deal can be finalised. According to Foot Mercato, Both Nice and Bordeaux are looking at a potential deal, with Marseille also in the hunt for the winger.

Nice tried to sign Boufal last summer, and are likely to re-enter the market this Summer. Bordeaux could look for a loan deal this Summer, with a view to a permanent deal.

Boufal looks to be on his way out of Southampton, with the Saints making him available for transfer for a reported fee of around €10 million.

West Ham have reportedly been offered the chance to sign France international Florian Thauvin. Accoridng to Sky Sports, Marseille have offered the World Cup winner to the Hammers in a player-plus-cash deal. The Ligue 1 side would look to receive a fee in the region of £36 million for the 26-year-old and the permanent services of current West Ham forward Javier Hernandez. Thauvin has previous Premier League experience with Newcastle United but has made his name mainly with Marseille during his two permanent stints with the club.
