Leicester in talks with Monaco over permanent move for Tielemans

Leicester in talks with Monaco over permanent move for Tielemans Leicester City are in talks with AS Monaco over a permanent move for midfielder Youri Tielemans. The Belgium international impressed during his short loan spell with the Foxes, and is said to be keen on a permanent move to the King Power Stadium this summer. According to Sky Sports, Leicester are in talks with Monaco and discussions are said to be going well, but the deal is complicated by interest in Adrien Silva. The Portugal international was part of the loan swap deal that saw Tielemans move to Leicester, and Monaco are reportedly keen on signing the midfielder permanently, meaning the Foxes could use Silva as part of a player plus cash offer for Tielemans.

Leicester City midfielder Adrien Silva has suggested that his future remains with Monaco, having spent the last six months on loan in the principality.

The Portugal international joined the Ligue 1 club after falling out of favour at the King Power Stadium, switching places with Youri Tielemans who travelled in the opposite direction.

“Monaco is my priority. You have to recognise people who reach out to you.”

“I will never forget what Monaco have done for me. I felt really good there.”

“With Jardim, we like to work together.”

The 30-year old midfielder just made two Premier League appearances last season, making just 14 league appearances for the club in total.

Ntcham admits desire to leave Celtic this summer.
Oliver Ntcham has confirmed his intentions to leave Celtic this summer and admits he’s disappointed a move to Porto fell through last year. The Portuguese club submitted two bids for Ntcham ahead of the 2018-19 season but neither met Celtic’s asking price and he remained at Parkhead. After making just 16 Scottish Premiership appearances during the campaign just gone, the 23-year-old wants out of the club, telling L’equipe, cited by the Daily Record: “Celtic has given me a lot, but it’s the best solution for my development. We can do as many matches as we want but, with all due respect for my opponents, if the level in front is not high, you do not progress.
