Neil Lennon looks set to lose defender Liam Morrison to Bayern Munich after the teenager agreed terms with the German giants, according to Football Insider.

The report suggests that the German giants have won a legal battle for the 16-year-old and have agreed personal terms ahead of a proposed move.

Celtic officials were hoping to keep hold of the defender this summer, with the Hoops regarding Morrison as a future star.

However, the Scottish champions look to have failed in their bid to keep hold of the teenager, who looks set to become the latest British talent to test himself in the Bundesliga.

The Hoops will receive a compensation fee for the Scotland Under 17 international, however, it could be a similar fee to what Celtic paid Bolton Wanderers for midfielder Luca Connell.

The news comes as a big blow to boss Lennon, who is looking to bolster his defensive options further before the news of Morrison’s move to the Allianz Arena.

According to FT, Wriedt is attracting interest from a number of German clubs and has been linked with a move to Norwich earlier in the window. The report claims that Bayern could now be prepared to sell Wriedt, as he has been unable to make the step up to the first-team. Wriedt scored 24 goals in all competitions for Bayern’s reserve side last season and is now reportedly seeking a higher challenge as he looks to progress his career.
