Palace favourites to land AC Milan striker Fabio Borini

Palace favourites to land AC Milan striker Fabio Borini Crystal Palace are reportedly considered as favourites to sign AC Milan striker Fabio Borini this summer, after he was told he has no future at the club. The Eagles’ attacking threat may be diminished if Wilfried Zaha completes a move away from Selhurst Park and will be on the lookout for reinforcements. According to Forza Italian Football, cited by Ghana Soccernet, Palace have been joined by newly-promoted Premier League side Aston Villa in their interest. However, the source adds that they are favourites to sign the 28-year-old if they do launch a pursuit.

Torino don’t appear to be interested in AC Milan forward and Crystal Palace target Fabio Borini, despite having been offered the player, according to reports.

The Turin club are looking to sign another forward in order to complete their front trio that already consists of Andrea Belotti and Iago Falque. While talks have stalled over their primary target Simone Verdi, Borini has been offered to the Serie A club with Milan keen to offload.

In a positive move for Palace, who are rivalling Premier League rivals Aston Villa for the £13million rated man, Torino President Urbano Cairo and sports director Massimo Bava appear uninterested in the former Liverpool man, as reports Calciomercato. This could leave the door open for Roy Hogson to complete a capture of the Italy international.

Borini to cost €15m amid Palace links

Borini to cost €15m amid Palace links Crystal Palace will need to pay at least €15 million to lure Fabio Borini away from AC Milan, according to a report from Calciomercato. The Eagles were linked with a possible move for the former Liverpool striker earlier on Sunday, and other claims from Italy indicate that they will not be able to recruit him in a cut-price deal. Borini was involved 20 times in Serie A fixtures for Milan last season but was hardly productive in front of goal, netting just twice and assisting his teammates only once.

The Eagles are keen to strengthen their forward line this summer, having already lost Bakary Sako and Jordan Ayew, while Arsenal remain keen on signing Wilfried Zaha.

Aston Villa have spent just under £100million this summer and with Palace yet to spend anything in this window, now could be their opportunity.

Palace to demand £100m for Zaha.
Crystal Palace are holding out for a fee in the region of £100m to let Wilfried Zaha leave the club this summer. According to The Daily Mail, via Sky Sports, Arsenal will need to splash £100m if they want to land Zaha ahead of next season. The report claims that Palace do not want Zaha to exit Selhurst Park in the coming weeks, which is why they are demanding a record fee for the Ivorian international. Zaha hit a career-best 10 league goals last season for Palace as he enjoyed a stellar campaign for the club. He has scored 32 Premier League goals in 163 appearances for Palace since his move back to the club from Manchester United in 2013.
