Blackburn to launch Sam Gallagher offer

Blackburn to launch Sam Gallagher offer Both Blackburn Rovers and Leeds United have been linked with a move for Southampton striker Sam Gallagher this summer. And it appears as if Rovers are preparing a formal offer for the 23-year-old, according to Sky Sports. The athletic forward doesn’t appear to be in Ralph Hasenhuttl’s first-team plans at St Mary’s, with the Saints valuing the towering striker at £5 million. The report doesn’t name a fee the Lancashire side are willing to pay for Gallagher, however, Tony Mowbray appears to be keen on bringing the player back to Ewood Park ahead of the new season. Gallagher spent the 2016-17 season on loan at Blackburn, scoring 11 times in a consistent campaign for Rovers.

Southampton open to sale of Mario Lemina.
Southampton are reportedly open to a surprise sale of midfielder Mario Lemina according to the Telegraph. Lemina could be one of a number of players leaving the Saints, as Ralph Hasenhuttl looks to make the Southampton team his own ahead of the new Premier League season. The midfielder is a surprising name to be on the list, despite the player’s injury last season that kept him out for the majority of last season. Wesley Hoedt, Fraser Forster, Alex McCarthy and Cedric Soares are just some of the other players who could depart the Saints, with Charlie Austin and Sam Gallagher reportedly having multiple sides interested in a move for the two strikers.
